Each year, Saginaw Field & Stream Club proudly hosts the Rinehart 100, drawing archers from across the region to one of Michigan’s premier events. During this weekend, all other ranges close to make room for two 50-target courses—one featuring North American game like whitetail, elk, and moose, and the other offering a safari challenge with targets such as giraffe, elephant, and kudu.
Details and registration for the Rinehart 100 are available on the official Rinehart website. Beyond this event, the club also hosts a variety of competitive 3D shoots throughout the year with groups such as the IAA, ASA, and IBO. Check the calendar of events or contact the club for more information.
Saginaw Field & Stream Club offers a variety of winter leagues designed to sharpen your skills and provide the camaraderie of shooting with fellow archers. Both sport and animal leagues are available, with morning and evening lines running from early January through the end of March.
Four different leagues are held each week, with a $10 league fee and $5 weekly shooting fee for members and non-members alike. Participation in a league isn’t required—you’re welcome to drop in for a night of shooting. For details on specific leagues, please contact the league coordinator.
The Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program gives young archers ages 11–20 the chance to learn proper technique and fundamentals under the guidance of USA Archery–certified coaches.
Saginaw Field & Stream Club hosts a 12-week winter JOAD session inside the CEC Archery Building. Participants should be able to consistently group three arrows inside a paper plate at 20 yards before joining. Archers must bring their own equipment.
The cost of the program is $60. Shooters who wish to participate in the achievement pin program must also hold a USA Archery membership ($40).
